As part of my second year studying Fashion Design, we were tasked with designing a tailored blazer inspired by a fashion house while incorporating a personal element into the design.
I chose Schiaparelli as my fashion house inspiration and incorporated my passion for millinery to bring my vision to life.
The result was a tailored blazer featuring halo style shoulder pads, handmade flowers, and a fitted corset to emphasise the silhouette. To complete the look, I created a large-brimmed boater with a suspended gold rose, tying the design together in a way that felt both personal and true to the spirit of Schiaparelli.
